As we head to the warmer part of the summer (unless last week was the summer) Go South Coast have lodged some leisurely summer Sunday services to help you into the countryside. These services are being supported by Three Rivers and East Hampshire Community Rail Partnerships.
The South Downs National Park are again going to have their South Downs Rambler this year. The service will be run by Bluestar and will have a significant route change compared to 2023; rather than serving East Meon and Languish, it will continue along the Droxford and East Meon Roads into Clanfield and stop at Queen Elizabeth Country Park (the stops listed are the ones on the A3).
This also means that the service will also run past Tesco and through Petersfield town centre to the railway station.
End to end journey times are the same as last year despite the different route; with the departure times staying the same with three departures each way.
New to Bluestar, they will also be running the Test Valley Rambler on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
The bus will run three round trips from Romsey to Mottifont Abbey, Stockbridge, Grateley and Andover.
The timetables are not yet on the Bluestar website, but they are on TravelineSW (the South Downs is also on BusTimes, but the Test Valley is not, yet)
