Schools Back for Autumn. That means that there are a number of changes to Bluestar & morebus coming up to help them better reallocate buses and drivers to schools and the peak times. Unfortunately, as you sometimes get with bus companies, the headline details are scant and you need to dig into the timetable to see what is actually happening.
Guess what? This is one of those times.
Bluestar Changes from 6th September
Most of these changes are “Changes to peak time buses on weekdays”; so here is the list:
There are some specific changes on other services as well though:
- Bluestar 6 – A diversion on the 1530 from Southampton no longer happens and this bus will go through Foxhills as normal
- Bluestar 7 buses will run 10 minutes earlier during the day – this better suits hospital shift changes at Southampton General.
- Bluestar 9 and Bluestar 17 have various changes, but also now include earlier buses on a Sunday morning.

Salisbury Reds from 29th August
The only service to change in our area is that the 1645 service from Salisbury to Southampton (service X7) will no longer call into Paultons Park.
