Over the coming days, you are probably going to be sick of the word Christmas on this blog. The big groups and small companies are now starting to release their festive timetables and that means the word Christmas will pop up a few times.
Now for me, today (Friday 19th November) is technically Christmas Shopping day; so greetings from the Long Acre Pub, between Covent Garden and Leicester Square, and I am spending the day getting those things that you really should only get in London. Hamleys, Venchi, you know the drill. But while I await my rather expensive burger and pint of Asahi Dry, let’s look at what morebus is offering over the festive break.

Christmas Eve
It’s a perfectly normal service up until Christmas Eve. There is no changes right up until Friday 24th December.
Saturday Service applies on most routes.
Some extra morning journeys will run on some routes.
Friday Service applies on these routes:
- Services X1 and X2 between Bournemouth and Lymington
- Service X3 between Bournemouth, Ringwood and Salisbury
- Service X6 between Poole, the rural villages, Ringwood and Bournemouth
- Service X8 between Poole and Blandford
- Services 23 and 24 in Burton and Christchurch
- Service 38 in Ferndown and Ringwood
- Ringwood and New Forest community services 119, 125, 191 and 193
- Ringwood RINGO
- Lymington CANGO C32
Christmas Day (Saturday)
The usual Christmas Day premium service will be running across Bournemouth and Poole on the m1 and m2 services. An hourly service on both routes, extending to Royal Bournemouth Hospital (m1) and Christchurch (m2)
Timetables for the special service are here and run from 8am to 8pm. It is a special service and special fares apply. Please and I am seriously saying please if the service is something you can ditch the car for, please use it. The more people that use the Christmas Day service, even at a premium, the more likely it is to return next year.
Boxing Day (Sunday)
A Sunday service will run on several routes and a special service on a few others:
Special Service:
- Routes m1 and m2 – running every 20 minutes on each route
- Breezer 50 – running every 2 hours
Sunday Service:
- BCP area routes: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 13, 14, 16, 17, 40
- Long distance routes X3 and X8
Monday 27th & Tuesday 28th December
Sunday services will run on all routes across morebus
Wednesday 29th, Thursday 30th and New Years Eve (Friday)
Saturday Service applies on most routes.
Some extra morning journeys will run on some routes.
Normal Weekday Service applies on these routes:
- Services X1 and X2 between Bournemouth and Lymington
- Service X3 between Bournemouth, Ringwood and Salisbury
- Service X6 between Poole, the rural villages, Ringwood and Bournemouth
- Service X8 between Poole and Blandford
- Services 23 and 24 in Burton and Christchurch
- Service 38 in Ferndown and Ringwood
- Ringwood and New Forest community services 112, 119, 125, 191 and 193

New Years Day
