Rocking around Barton Park

Falling off at each bus stop
Independent Eastleigh bus operator Xelabus has opened it’s book on the service that it runs over the festive season. At least most of the fleet is already in a Christmas shade of green and a few twinkly LED lights in the window and job done!
A reminder that most of the bus fleet is used on schools contracts, and they will obviously not be running when schools are closed. We also assume that these arrangements also apply to the XelaGroup Yellow Buses subsidiary which does not have it’s own news page that I can find.
Up to Christmas Eve
Normal timetables will run up to the close of service on Christmas Eve
Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Bank Holiday 27th December
Xelabus will run no services over the three days of Christmas. This is because Xelabus does not have a Sunday service, which is what is traditionally run on a Bank Holiday.
Wednesday 28th to New Years Eve
The normal daily timetable will run across Xelabus between Christmas and New Year. This includes the normal Saturday service on New Years Eve.
New Years Day & Monday 2nd January
Xelabus will run no services on New Years Day and the substitute Bank Holiday Monday.
Tuesday 3rd January
Normal service resumes.
