This is a quick round-up of bus services operating on Christmas Eve, Sunday 24th December:
Stagecoach South
A normal Sunday service operates on most routes and depots in our area. There are a small number of early finishes advertised though, on routes that run late into Sunday night:
In Andover, Stagecoach journeys on Activ8 will finish after the 1730 from Andover and 1925 from Salisbury. Salisbury Reds will be running later journeys though.
In Portsmouth the last trips are:
* Service 21 leaving Havant at 1930 and Portsmouth at 2035 (which will also terminate at Farlington)
* Service 23 leaving Leigh Park at 2005 and Southsea at 2025
Previous indications that Winchester will have an early run in now appear to not be the case.
First
A normal Sunday service, subject to an early run in, runs across both Wessex and Solent.
In Gosport and Fareham, the last Eclipse services are the E2 services from Fareham at 2000 and Gosport at 2020
In Portsmouth & Fareham the last services are:
* Service 1 from Southsea at 1916 and Gunwharf at 1952
* Service 2 from Paulsgrove at 1908 and Gunwharf at 1943
* An Additional Service 2 from Gunwharf to Hilsea (only) at 2003
* Service 3 from Fareham at 1852 and Southsea at 1929
* Additional Service 3 from Fareham to Gunwharf (only) at 1922 and Cosham (only) at 1952
* Additional Service 3 from Southsea to Cosham (only) at 1947 and Commercial Road (only) at 2001
* The Star 7 from Wecock Farm at 1945 and Commercial Road at 1945
* Additional Service 7 from Commercial Road to Cosham (only) at 2015
* The Star 8 from Clanfield at 1956 and Gunwharf at 1929
* Additional Service 8 from Clanfield to Cosham (only) at 2026
* Additional Service 8 from Gunwharf to Waterlooville Precinct (only) at 1959 and to Cosham (only) at 2029
Go South Coast
A normal Sunday service runs on morebus, Bluestar and Southern Vectis.
Unilink will be running a Vacation Sunday service.
Other operators
Xelabus do not run buses on a Sunday, so assumedly there is nothing running today, unless of course you spot one on rail replacement work.
