It was not that long ago that Southampton Mini Link announced a new weekday service on route 14 between Southampton and Chartwell Green. Following the summer school holidays to bed in, there are a few changes to the service that will take effect on 31st October (so this is a bit further in the future!)
Service 14 withdrawn
The weekday service will now be withdrawn after service on Friday 28th October. Simon Gard has said that this is because changes to the 13a will cover 95% of the existing route and provide an enhanced service on
Daily service 13a
The route will be unchanged but the service will run for longer on each day of the week. Simon has said that timetables will be available soon. Now ironically, with First Southampton’s announced changes to the 9 and 13a does that mean Southampton Mini Link has more of a service than City Reds in some parts east?
Harefield really does get a raw deal and still won`t have an evening at weekends.Surely First could have extended their no.3 to Harefield in the evenings.

Services to Harefield will largely remain the same as at present however the majority of services will be operated by Southampton Mini Link. The last departure from the City Centre on a weekday will be at 1910 however we may look to operate later in the future.
