As with all the operators at the moment, Yellow Buses have reduced weekday services from today. I regret that although I did see the announcement towards the end of last week, but work and things have caused more headaches as Lockdown continues.
Yellow Buses are basically moving most of their higher frequency core services to a Saturday timetable. This means that there is a marked reduction in operating hours and frequencies. Services that are contracted to Bournemouth Council are largely not affected, as well as services that normally run weekdays only.
Saturday and Sunday services themselves are not affected.
Yellow Routes now on Saturday Services
The following services will now run to a Saturday service 6 days a week:
- Services 1 / 1a / 1b between Poole – Bournemouth – Southbourne – Somerford / New Milton
- Service 2 between Bournemouth – Castlepoint and Bearwood
(every 15 minutes from Town to Hospital) - Service 3 between Westbourne – Bournemouth – Castlepoint and Bournemouth Hospital
(Early morning services to the Hospital will continue to run) - Service 4 between Bournemouth – Winton and Castlepoint

(Note the extension to Bear Cross is suspended) - Service 5 / 5a between Bournemouth – Winton and Kinson
