Following the delights of the festive season, the New Year’s Eve partying and a smogersboard of snogging under the mistletoe; Yellow Buses are the next to reduce services in light of increasing Omicron COVID-19 cases.
They have announced this week that due to the high levels of isolating staff, as well as general reductions in bus usage. Most services will remain at a Saturday timetable like the one running over Christmas and the New Year.
This will affect weekday services until further notice, and obviously does not affect Sundays where a Sunday service will continue.
Services running Saturday timetables
- Service 1 & 1b between Poole, Bournemouth, Southbourne and Christchurch
- Service 1a to Somerford and New Milton
- Service 3 to Riyal Bournemouth Hospital and Castlepoint
- Express service 3x to Castlepoint and the Hospital
- Service 4 to the Hospital and Christchurch
- Service 5 & 5a to West & East Howe and Kinson
- Service 6 to Bearwood and Wimborne

BCP tendered routes 18 (Canford Heath & Broadstone), 33 (Hospital, Southbourne and Christchurch), 36 (Talbot View to Kinson)
Commercial services 4a (Winton & Kinson), 6h (Christchurch to Royal Bournemouth Hospital) and 737 (to Bournemouth Airport)
Services Suspended

- All night bus services – these have been running through Christmas, trying to help promote evening social trade for restaurateurs and the like. They will now be suspended now.
Yellow Bus have stressed that online planners are still being changed to reflect the new timetables, but have left a printable version on the news page to browsing.
