I know, I know – it does not quite work and far from a few fat reindeer sinking the Sandbanks ferry it is actually under maintenance. Maybe, tomorrow, I will head down to Bournemouth and try and get a run on the X50, seeing Dorset from the top deck rather than the drivers seat of a battered old car.
morebus, alongside Bluestar and Southern Vectis, have announced their Christmas service levels for 2022. If you are watching the morebus website front page, then it is not quite there yet. It is probably on a timer waiting to be promoted to the front page of the website. It is there though.
Friday 23 December – Normal Friday timetable.
Christmas Eve – Normal Saturday timetable.
Christmas Day – Special Service. No timetables yet. Adults fares are flat fare £4.50 single, £7 return.
- service m1 – as usual will run hourly Poole – Bournemouth – Castlepoint – Royal Bournemouth Hospital
- service m2 – as usual will run hourly Poole – Bournemouth – Southbourne – Christchurch
Boxing Day – Only the services listed below will run
- Sunday service on “Yellow” routes 1a, 1 & 1b, 2, 4, 5 & 5a and 6
- Sunday service on Poole routes 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 13 14, 16, 17, 40, X3 and X8 (and now the Breezer 50, to it’s “FERRY CLOSED” Sunday Timetable) (because…. the Ferry is not running until the New Year)
- Special service on m1, m2 and
50
Tuesday 27th December – Sunday Service on all routes.
Wednesday 28th, Thursday 29th & Friday 30th December – A Saturday service will run with some exceptions:
- Weekday service on Lymington services X1 & X2, Ringwood services X3 & X6, Poole to Bridport service X8.
- Weekday service on contracted / supported services 23, 24, 38, 11, 119, 125, 191, 193, RINGO and Bournemouth Airport 737
- Weekday services on Lymington depot’s Bluestar 6
- Weekday service on the Damory brand (Dorchester / Weymouth routes 1, 2, 5, 6, 187, X12, Salisbury 20, Lyme Regis 71)
There will also be an extra trip on many Bournemouth and Poole routes pre-0630.
New Years Eve – A normal Saturday Service.
New Years Day – Only the services listed below will run
